Committed Volume Contracts (CVCs)

To put it simply, a Committed Volume Contract (CVC) is an optimum supply arrangement. It is the epitome of high-powered aggregation at work.

CVCs bring many benefits to both buyers and suppliers. Here are just a few:

To buyers:

  • Competitive and value added outcomes not achieved through individual tendering
  • Substantial savings in resources to conduct individual tendering
  • Being active supporters and participants of industry best practice

To suppliers:

  • Attractive volumes and certainty of orders

Procurement Australia has a proven track record in partnering stakeholders and negotiating high-volume, equitable CVC arrangements. Long-standing contracts include electricity, public lighting and natural gas. Procurement Australia removes the complexity for buyers and creates greater certainty for suppliers to win business.
